You tossed in your sleep, clutching your favourite stuffed animal. Sweat rolled down your cheeks, as the voices in your dream coming closer towards you, whispering in your ears. You started to cry out in your sleep, saying that you'd wanted them to go away, and stop harassing you. As one of them came closer, your eyes shot open.
You sat up, whimpering. Your _____ eyes scanned the room, only to find that it was all a dream, you were really in reality. You sobbed, stepping out of bed. In your seven year old mind, there was only one person that could save you from the bad men, your papa Lovino.
Making your way towards his room, you see him sleeping soundly in his bed. You were scared to wake him, but with determination in your little mind, you hugged your stuffed animal closer to your chest, tugging at his sleeves of his pyjama top. A sudden noise made you sob, you were terrified now.
Lovino groaned, feeling the tug at his sleeve. Opening his eyes, he spotted you at his bed side, sobbing your heart out. He pulled you into his embrace, sighing, "Belle, what is wrong?"
You sobbed, "I..I h-had a b-bad dream, papa!"
His eyes softened, as he stroked your _____ hair, "Hey, whatever it was, chichita, it's all gone. I promise, there won't be any bad men anymore…"
You gripped his shirt, shaking your head, "Don't leave me, papa! I don't want them to come back!"
"Shh, it's okay. I know…" He realised this was going to be a long night for him, "You want to sleep with papa? Do you want to stay here with me?"
You nodded, and he pulled the covers over the both of you. You still couldn't sleep, not with the dream still lingering around in your mind; you let the tears still flow. You looked into your papa's eyes, whispering, "Can you sing me the Sunshine song, papa?"
Lovino groaned. To be honest, the Italian man didn't know that song properly, he only knew the chorus. Still, with the huge _____ eyes you're giving him, he smiled.
He began to sing his version:
'You are my sunshine, my only sunshine.
You make me happy when your eyes are blue.
Even though, you have _____ eyes,
You're still my sweet sunshine.
Please don't take that sunshine away.
You are my sunshine, my only sunshine.
You make me happy when skies are grey.
You'll never know dear how much I love you.
So please, don't take that sunshine away.
Please don't take that sunshine away.
Please don't take that sunshine away.
Don't take the sunshine away…'
Lovino finished, and saw that you were asleep, staying close to your papa. He chuckled lightly, falling deep into the pillows. Closing his eyes, he felt you move closer to his side, and he pulled you closer, falling into sleep land.
You woke up the next morning to humming, and the sun shining down on your eyes. Fluttering them open, you sit up in your papa's bed, looking around. It was a lot different from your room, but that wasn't the point.
Where was your papa?
Your questions were answered though, as he entered the room, a tray of food in his hands. You giggle, "Why are you carrying food, papa?"
Lovino laughed, and sat down next to you, "I wanted to treat you like my princess, like my sunshine today!" thankyou
You hugged him tightly, "Gracias, papa!"
All through this, you had Sunshine in your head, your papa's singing voice playing over and over, as you smiled.

Hey,
Something I made up at the top of my head, to be honest with you guys. I wanted to do something for Romano, so here!
I've always imagined that Romano would be the best father figure ever!
I don't own Hetalia nor the picture.

Um, I hate to sound like a douche, but shouldn't it be 'grazie' instead of 'gracias'?
